5 Blogs Respond to Gay Marriage

In light of my post yesterday regarding President Obama’s public statement supporting same-sex marriage, here are 5 links to commentary on how we, as Christians, should deal with opponents and respond as believers.

At the end, I’ve offered a video of Tim Keller talking about his book, The Meaning of Marriage, in a non-evangelical setting.

1.     “How I Wish the Homosexuality Debate Would Go” by Trevin Wax is a great example of how Christians can respond to questions about homosexuality and same-sex marriage.

2.     “A Proposed Compromise on the Same-Sex Marriage Debate” in Justin Taylor’s blog is a proposed compromise to the issue at hand.

3.     “5 Reasons Christian Should Continue to Oppose Gay Marriage” is Kevin DeYoung’s encouragement to never give up in the battle to oppose gay marriage.

4.     “President Obama, Same-Sex Marriage, and the Future of Evangelical Response” by Ed Stetzer gives us 5 things to know as we move forward in the days ahead.

5.     “How to Win the Public on Homosexuality” form Collin Hansen at The Gospel Coalition discusses the reasons for what he calls “the vain pursuit of self-fulfillment.”

6.     Timothy Keller, pastor of New York City’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church, talks about his book The Meaning of Marriage to those at New York City’s Google office.
